Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm here in windy So. Cal. (Ontario CA to be exact...) where i was lucky enough to be able to ride to work today (and most everyday). I have a 2000 RKC that is in the midst of a cosmetic re-do, Paint, Hard Stretched Bags, Dropped front fender and hopefully a stretched tank (total PITA). The paint is looking like it will be a candy copper (custom HoK mix w/ gold, root beer & tangerine) over silver mini flake-on the top half of bike, with a jet black bottom half separated by small 23k gold leaf flames. At least that's what I see in my minds eye. This is my 3rd H-D since I started with an Electra Glide that looked a ton like a street glide (when it was completed) except a few years before, and a Heritage Softail. I hope to turn this bike when I get finished (are they EVER really finished???) and move on to a 2001 Screamin Eagle Road Glide, then my end goal being a 2004 SEEG in orange/black, with maybe a late 90's fat boy for short putts.
I found about your forum thru another, and hope to be a "useful" member. Below is a couple of pics of the bikes i described.... Later, Tim
PS actually....The system WON'T let me post the pics... I keep getting an Error in saving to disk message, for this AND the avatar uploading. The pics were of proper size. I am using a Mac G4 but this usually doesn't pose problems. Any suggestions on how i'm f-ing up???? Thanks Tim
