Hello all. I joined back in May and then some life stuff happened and now I have some time to enjoy myself again. I ride a 2006 FLHTCUI that I bought new in '06 and just rolled 81,000 miles. It was my first NEW Harley. I have been riding since I was 14 and I'm 55. My first bike was a '73 (I think) Honda CL 100 and the first thing I did was cut the muffler off and swiped one of my mom's vacuum cleaner tubes, cut a slit in it and hose clamped it to the single exhaust. I was bad to the bone!!
I have done a little work on my FL, 95" build with 10:1 pistons, Bob Wood gear drive cams, Reinharts, air, SERT, and a lot of other non performance stuff. I have taken the tourpak off, anyway, I'm getting "the Beast" ready for Daytona now. I go every year in the spring. I haven't made it to the October rally yet. Work is always getting in the way of the fun stuff. My older brother lives in Port Orange so I have a free place to stay. Well I hope this is not to much info and I'm looking forward to some good discussions and am glad to lend any experience I have to the group.
