Just bought my first Harley. It's also my first on-road motorcycle. I rode dirt bikes since I was 8.
When it came down to sign papers to finialize the purchase I got this bad image in my head of me ending up not liking riding on the road and going in to debt for this toy I'm not going to enjoy. I quickly proved that wrong when I got on it for the first ride. I love it! I can ride the same route through town 5 times in a row and it's still fun.
Anyways, I have a brand new 2012 Sporster 1200 XL1200C in Vivid Black. I love the way the bike looks especially the fat front end but still has the Harley look. I love how much torque it has.
I live in southwest washington just outside the greater Portland metro area
