New from Canada.
My name is Ian. I reside in Petawawa Ontario.
I trailered this little dude home yesterday. 1999 Sportster 883 XLH.
It used to be my Uncles- He bought it new in 2000 from Pooles HD in Hamilton. 12 Years later, it needed a few things after sitting. I bought and installed a new HD battery, plugs, siphoned out the 4-year old gas, and put some fresh 91 in. The tires needed air, and the mice had made a home, but neglected to eat any wires. Washed, waxed, expired tags, and a borrowed helmet later- I had it out

(Fact: Mice will eat wires because there is soy in the wire jacketing- Now you can't say you didn't learn anything today.)
I think I'm set up pretty good. I have a factory service manual, and a small arsenal of tools. I think its in my best interest to invest in some alan keys, as I have zero.
Next are tires, fresh oil, air filter, and try my luck at the Provincial Safety Inspection.
Feel free to chime in and throw me a few pointers- I'm not completely new to Motorcycles, but I'm always eager to learn something new.

Is that why squirrels eat wires too?
