Hi all
Hi everyone.
I just registered so I will be lurking around as I look for help with answers that come up on mods and stuff.
I used to have an 04 flrhsi Road King Custom I bought new in 04.
I just bought an 07 Road king police.
I plan to use it as a foundation for a cool conversion.
With the 103" and 6 speed, heavy duty electrical harness and alternator, anti lock and cruise it is a good platform for me.
I wanted to get a 2010 but it was out of my budget at the moment.
I have been out of work since 08 with a back injury.
Back then I lost my house to a fire, my dog and parrot to stress and old age, eventually my bike was repossessed after 4.5 years of good payments I fell behind twice and even though they said they would work with me, they took it, I had already paid more than what it was worth and still owed but at that time I was sunk.
Long story short I bought another bike, flipped it for a nice profit and put a few bucks together and just bought another Harley.
It took me 4 years but I am back!!

Anyway I wanted to say hi.
I like to do my own wrenching although I dont know nearly enough, I love to learn.
I plan to rake the bike do a few mods to it and set it up for a taller rider, ( I am 6'3") and keep it for a while then flip it and buy an 09 or newer and do the same thing and keep that one.
Small steps,but it is fun and I am getting what I want.
It is funny although my back is bad, I can ride, I just cant do much standing up, so I need my bike man!!
I took a job working at a Harley dealership a while back for a while and although it sucked I got the fever again and have been working on this ever since.
I have done pretty good without any income to get this far.
I am just now getting back to work and I work for myself so for all that time I had no income at all, no disability or anything.
I am good at buying and selling and thats how I bought the bike I flipped to get my Harley.
Anyway thats me, nice to meet ya.

Thanks for all the welcomes, I am glad to be back on a Harley.
Well when I get it here in a month or two, lol.
By the way I am in Ct and always looking for someone to go for rides with.
I ride alone so much I was thinking of getting a geo cache and a metal detector so I can at least set a destination and go to the Rhode Island shore and look for lost stuff on the beach or something., lol
Once I get my bike here though I love to ride out to OCC and Bear Mt, Rte 9 NY, Rte 7 by the covered bridges etc.. if anyone is looking to take some day trips and rides Ill be game.
