I am in the process of shopping for a Harley and am trying to decide whether to go with an RK, and of course $$ is an issue! I see a lot of RK on Craigslist with 03 models priced anywhere from $6.5K to $13K. I have the opportunity to buy a Clasic 100 Ann model for $10K; question is, is that a decent price? It has a little over 7K miles on it! Your thoughts woiuld be appreciated.
It all depends on who took care of it and what kind of documentation they have. I personally would rather buy a newer bike with high mileage then a bike thats been sitting in the garage. What is that about 700 miles a year...poor bike. Nobody road it. Probably needs new tires no matter what the tread looks like.
If you are willing to spend 10K you can probably get close to a 5 year old bike

10K 7,000 miles for a roadking sounds like a great deal. If you know waht to look for when you go to check it out mechaically wise you should do fine, if you dont know what to look for bring somebody that does with you. You will have to more than likely put some money into to it to get it back up to snuff but you never know.
Welcome to the forum, I would check in another section for the best pricing options on a bike. You might get a better idea of what price range you're looking for.
