Welcome from NC. First piece of advice... RIDE SOLO. I hadn't riden in 19 years (bad marriage), and got myself an Ultra as my divorce present to myself. I was scared sheitless when I went to pick it up. I had NEVER ridden anything that big and heavy. But, there it was.. in the parking lot... no choice now but to ride it home. Just like riding a bicycle (this one just has a motor).. it all comes back to you. If you need a place to plactice slow manuvering, try a school or factory parking lot when no one else is there.
Be careful, and keep the rubber side down, shinny side up.
welcome from Maryland, There are a lot of us here that had been off the saddle for years then returned. Just take it easy, better to stay away from heavy traffic for awhile and just put it in your head that all them cagers are out to ruin your day and act/ride arrordingly.
Be safe
