My name is Jerry and I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. A few years ago I owned a Kawasaki Vulcan 800 and sold it. I'm looking to buy a retired police Electra Glide in a few months and join the Harley-Davidson family.
Hello from Redcar England.
Don't get a bike thats been thrashed just because it has had the oil changed will not make it last any longer. Get a nice well looked after very low mile bike that has not had much use if your money will stretch to it. Condition and newness can not be put back into a bike at a low cost. Think about how people use things that they do not own? JMO for what thats worth.
Good luck

And thanks for the advice tbone108. Actually my Uncle is the police officer that has been riding it for 2 years. So I know the history of the bike. Never been down, 4100 miles on it. I have no concerns about the condition at all.
I do appreciate the advice though because you never know what you're getting into if you don't know the history of the bike!
