Hi guys! I'm a Marine from San Diego who is currently stationed in Oahu. I ride a 2007 Softail Deuce. I'm looking for advice on modifying my scoot. I already have vance and hines pipes, a la pera seat, a DNA front end, carlini sweep back bars and some other odd and ends. I'm tired of constantly cleaning all the chrome on my bike so I just dropped it off to get slammed and powdercoated. I'm going to black out pretty much the whole bike minus the pipes and some accents.
Next step is going to be bobbing the rear fender and getting rid of what is in my opinion one of the ugliest fenders in the HD line up. I haven't decided what kind of fender I'm going to go with...something like a heartland kit or a Roland Sands tracker fender or something. I'm not sure how short I want the fender to be and whether or not I want to throw the license on the side or keep it on the fender. And relocate the lights off the fender. Maybe go with a strutless fender like russ wernimont offers. Having a deuce limits my bolt on options.
