Hello everyone. I'm Jen and I have a 2005 Softail Deuce.
I have been trying to find a wiring diagram for a 2004 Sportster 1200 custom. Any help will be appreciated with that and also the problem we are having...
The Sporty is my boyfriends bike. He's having a really hard time with it... I make fun of him as it is so now I feel bad...
Basically his bike just stopped working one day. We went for a ride stopped to play pool. Jumped on the bikes to leave and his just wouldn't start. It doesn't attempt to turn over and the lights turn on but don't dim when he pushes the start button. You can hear 1 click from the relay it seems everytime you push the button but thats it. He put a voltage meter on the battery got 12.7 and then 12.5 while the start button was held so it doesn't seem to be the battery... Randomly his buddy dropped the relay and when they put it back in the bike started right up... BUT then he replaced the Relay and all of the 15 fuses and he even used the electrical gel stuff but its still happening... Sometimes it'll start right up and then it'll start doing the same thing.. 1 click full power lights but it just won't turn over... Sorry for the long "I have a problem" post but We've been looking everywhere and alas... nothing is really helping.
