The old Harley idle

I've been riding since '72.
Am I wasting my time trying to get a EFI '07 FXSTS idle like my old shovelheads?

Welcome to the Forum from Colorado!
You can get close with a cam change and maybe an idle speed adjustment. The idle adjustment will need to be done at the dealer unless you know how to hack the ECM. And they will only lower it to around 950 rpm from 1000-1100. I'm running Andrews 37 cams and have a fair representation of the potato.

So you've got an '07, with the absolute worst crankshaft installed in a Big Twin in HD history, and you want to slow the idle down to a Shovelhead rpm?

We have lots of posts here as to how to address scissored cranks, so welcome to the forum! ( Or you could leave the idle where it should be (950 - 1050 rpm.)
