Hello everybody. I just found this website and thought it would be interesting to join and meet new people. I am 60 years old and have never even sat on a motorcycle in my life. I will be retiring in 17 months and 13 days, but who's counting. For a retirement gift, my wife has graciously agreed to let me buy a bike. The bike I have been druelling over is the Harley Sportster 883 Super low. I have signed up to take the beginning rider's course and started studying for my state license exam.I 'll admit that I know very little about motorcycles, but I am extremely interested and I do learn rather quickly. I look forward to gaining insight through tis forum and sharing what experiences I may have. Thank you all for reading this post.

Larry

Welcome to the Forum.

Retirement is great. Just find something/hobby you like that will keep you active. Having a new scoot is a good start.

Been retired on and off since I turned 57. Been working part time for a local Harley dealer, every other year when I get bored. I'm now 69.

I just got into hand guns and I hang around the range a lot. I think I will stay retired for now (no part time job).

Good luck.
