Hello, just new to the site. I am completely new to riding a motorcycle. I bought a 2003 sportster hugger, a couple months ago and I am loving it. I enjoy the shock value it brings when I ride into work when it is 15-20 degrees in the morning. People think I am crazy...I think well, maybe, but I love it.

I have named her Vita, which is the Italian word for Life. This is what the motorbike means to me, being out on the road, in the open air, with only the sound of the pipes below you; thats raw power...thats life.

I hope to connect with a bunch of new people here to help me with the whole new experience of riding and maintaining. I have questions about doing my own maintenance, everyday travel things and techniques, and simplistic modifications.

Minimalism is key...
