Hey all, They call me shotgun. I've had that handle since I was about 18 or so but that's a story I'll get into at another time. I'm 60 years old and have been riding for 45 years. Damn I'm old but I've had a lot of fun. My first bike was a 250 Riverside that I got when I was 15 and have been riding ever since. I've owned or rode just about every make of bike. I've built Flat Trackers, Drag Bikes, Street rockets and Cruisers.
My first HD was a 59 Pan that I picked up in the mid 70's. I rebuilt it from the ground up and rode the hell out of it. Road it out to Yellowstone one year. Wish I still had that bike, wish I had all the bikes I've owned in the past, still have the memories tho. I just sold a Kawasaki ZX12R that I turned into a Streetfighter, it put 192 HP to the ground and weighed 520# wet. That was a pretty exciting ride. I sold it because of a pretty bad work injury, I could no longer enjoy it. I'm currently recovering from my 13th surgery on my leg and foot. Even with the surgerys I still managed to put 9,300 miles on my road King last year.
I just traded my 06 Road King for a 14 Road king and am looking forward for warm weather. I just put a Vance and Hines Pro pipe on it and once it's broke in do a complete Stage 1 on it. I always say that's all I'm going to do but it's hard for me to leave things as they are. We shall see. I am currently a Moderator on another forum that I enjoy very much. My wife also rides , she has a Super Glide and we put miles on our bikes when ever we can. I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys and gals here and maybe get to do some riding with some of you. As I said I'm on the north side of 60 and have rode my whole adult life. If you all are interested I have a ton of stories to tell that I'm sure you will find quite amusing. Later all.
