Hey guys,
Just wanted to give you an introduction and a little background on myself. My name is Zach and I have recently purchased my first ever Harley Davidson motorcycle! It is a 2004 Electra Glide Ultra Classic that I nabbed from my grandpa. He was getting a little too tired to ride and couldn't stand just watching the bike sit and collect dust. The bike is Glacier White Pearl and doesn't have much done to it other than Rinehart mufflers and a tuner. About a year ago he had a Voyager convertible trike kit installed(which I will be riding withOUT..... most of the time). I'm sure I will post pics sometime in the near future after I get it cleaned up.
A little about myself: I work in Rockford, IL as a diesel tech. I am a Mack and Volvo Master technician. I enjoy tinkering with just about anything with an engine or wheels. Previous bikes I have owned include a 1980 and 1981 Honda CX500 and a 1977 Yamaha XS750 triple. I usually like older stuff, but couldn't pass up the deal I got on the Harley.
I can't wait to learn more about my new(to me) bike and soak up as much information from this site as possible. I look forward to chatting with all of you and possibly riding next to some of you!
