I had my Indy shop install a 2010 18" front wheel on my '06 street glide. Got the bike home and went to roll it in the garage and the brakes were dragging pretty bad. I got to looking at it and they reused the spacers from my '06 axle setup. When I dropped it off I gave them a 25mm axle off of an '08 along with the '08 spacers. Just looking to confirm that with the 2000-2007 spacer not being the same widths will cause the wheel to not be centered and cause the drag before I call and complain.
Proper rotor(s)-to-caliper(s) alignment really starts with the Left spacer (clutch lever side). With the 2000-07 only being approx .045" different from the 2008-later, it's enough for slight misalignment, but not enough for someone to say "Hey, this doesn't fit".
Look closely at your Left Rotor/Caliper...You should see that the rotor is not centered in the caliper.
Btw, I would get your old 1" axle and spacers back

I got the old stuff back. Didn't pay attention to the details when I picked it up unfortunately. Caught it when I got home. Had them install bars too and it's been leaking tranny fluid ever since. Tranny cover bolts were left loose the first time. Took it back and had them replace the gasket again and got it back along with the wheel being done. It's leaking again and the spacers weren't correct. $1000 later and can't ride the bike. Just a little frustrated
