HD, Thanks for that information. How much difference do you have in the tread height, front vs. trailing edge?
When the Dunlop Customer service guy replied "does not affect the overall safety or performance of the tire" I didn't measure or worry about it.
I have riding 3K more miles on it with no problems, I could measure this week for ya.
This dunlop elite is two years old with 7-8 K miles on them, the leading edge 0.203 or 13/64, and the trailing edge is 0.234 or 15/64, so there is 2/64 difference at the Chaffing cupping area.
Went out to check the tires today.. first I checked the air pressures front and back. All were good only off by 2 psi, but I aired them up to 40 psi rear and I like to run 38 in the front.
Next I rolled the bike to check the tires themselves. The front is OK, I think not so much the rear. Looks like the rear is cupping?
So if y'all can tell from these cell phone pictures...anything to worry about?
