Default HELP with Wheel installation kit

Bought a wheel bearing kit # 43851-08 to change from 1" to 25mm. Good ole HD doesn't provide instructions because THEY want the work. Anyway Does anybody know what part goes where. I can provide pics. I have two sleeves both longer then the stock sleeve but each a different length. I can quess which one to use. But I also received two shims one aluminum the other metal. Why different materials ??

What type wheel & yr/mod bike? there are 6+ different wheel assemblies this kit goes to, each different. Post & PM (easy to find) with info and I may have instructions for.

The 25mm bearing is thinner than the one inch bearing and the left side bearing is part of the anti-lock brake sensor. The thick or thin spacer goes in the left side hub then the bearing with the grove goes into the left side. Its been a while since I did this but I think the long spacer is for the rear wheel of a V-Rod. Install the spacer behind the bearing and press in the left side.

Install the preload tubing spacer from the right side.

The right side bearing outer race will not bottom out in the hole but the inner race will butt up against the inner preload tubing spacer.

Press the right side bearing into the hub.

I will assume that you are using early model wheels on a late model bike.

Hey guys, I'm working on this same project. I've got an 07 I want to put on an 18" ABS SG wheel. I picked up a wheel install kit (43851-07), I installed the bearing shim on the left side with the non-abs bearings and shorter inner wheel spacer, but nothing was lining up (outer wheel spacers-stock 07 or supplied in kit). it appeared i should've left the wheel alone (i also tried a 1" install with no luck) so I put the wheel back to stock (abs bearing/inner spacer) and it appears that the outer stock spacers (2007)fit well.
I forgot to mention I am using this wheel with a flush mount 25mm axle torqued to 55 lb-ft and 07 discs. This setup appears to keep the rotors and calipers lined up.
My question is does anyone have accurate measurements/lengths for all the spacers used or do I have it correct already.
Thanks for your help. I've been jacking with this for way too long and want to make sure I have it correct for safe travels.
Matt
