Hi
Has anyone put the Brembo brakes on any older models?I rode a new 2009 Streetglide last summer at a show in Ohio and could not believe the difference. No way I can have a new bike right now. Also if anyone knows of an economical upgrade I would like to hear about it
Thanks
Did this change on my '02 Ultra. One of the best things I have done. Bought all my parts off E-bay. You can probably get all the parts for $350-$500. Just make sure you use all '08 parts!! Good luck.
I just did a handlebar swap and added a +4 brake line. Do I need to change this brake line if I were to do this swap, or can I keep the current brake line?
I did this swap on my 07 RG, but am having trouble getting everything to work correctly. The brake lever will come all the way into the grip if you hold it long enough and eventually the caliper/pistons will release the rotor and the wheel spins. Does this sound like a bleeding issue? Is anyone else that did this change out having any problems? Thanks
Why does it have to be a 2008. Ive read around that the 2008-2013 have the same lower fork legs and rotors just two variables being either AABSor NON-ABS. I have a 2003 Ultra and I did a 18" front wheel swap on my roadglide before I sold it. The 2001-2007 rotors are 11.5" 2008+ are 11.8". I already have the brembo rotors and I just picked up a 2013 master cylinder. Will the 2013 master cylinder not work on my 03?
