Larry, 80-81 FLT are Oddballs ...
They use a needle bearing not a tapered roller bearing (it's like an inner cam bearing, but larger) on one side and a ball bearing assy on the other in the front.
In the Rear, again a needle bearing on one side and apparently a set of 2 tapered roller bearings on the chain sprocket side

@Uncle Larry, I just ran across this pic which is the best I've seen showing the Needle Bearings that are just on one side.
