BUILDPUP! A 2013 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight Build
Getting a new ride is exciting. There’s so much that you want to do, and sometimes it takes far too long, and too much money get there. Of course, it’s all worth it in the end. After all, what’s wrong with spending awhile on a stock ride, anyway? It gives one a better sense of what needs to be done to make it perfect. Consequently, it will all make it better in the end anyway.
HDForums member Mario, who is also known by his username drinktothat421, recently finished the build that he started in 2013. The ride is a 2013 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight that he bought new. Now, as we near 2017, the ride is much better looking than the original thing. We would certainly hope so, after all that work!
As it sits now, the Forty-Eight has a custom painted 3.5 gallon tank, front and rear stainless steel brake lines, and a five-spoke chrome mags with Night Dragon tires. An Energy One performance clutch, an LED headlight, a skid plate, Progressive mono tubes four inch kit, and 13.5 inch Pro Action shock from DK Customs rounds up the build. How does it all sound? Good, no?
