So on Saturday I swapped out my headlight for the reflector headlight and since then everytime I start up the bike and start riding the security light comes on and stay on for few seconds then turns off and back on basically flashing real slow no matter what gear I'm in or whether I'm driving or not.
Anyone know what is causing this and how to get it to stop?
I don't know if this will work for sure or not, but give it a shot. The low draw of an LED light might be tricking the bike into reading the headlight as being blown. Hold down the power button on the radio when you turn on the bike and that will bring up all of your codes. Once in there, you should see a code displayed relating to a headlight issue. I know there's a way to reset the code, but I haven't personally done it. Give that a shot. Can't hurt, might help.
The load equalizer is not required for the 2014s. I installed the daymaker reflector with no load equalizer and no issues. Must be something else. Hopefully you can read any codes that were thrown. Should at least point you in the right direction.
Try Pulling the Master Fuse to reset every thing...
I know the instruction sheets for most of the accessories & procedures instruct you to pull the main fuse before doing anything else. I wouldn't be surprised if they told you that before checking tire pressure.
