The wife wants higher bars on her RK. Can anyone tell me what height bars I need to get her 2-4" higher? I guess what I am after is what is the stock height of the bars?
The reason I ask is because when I measure from the bottom of the bar to the top of the grip, it looks to be about 15". I'm not sure if I measured right or how the various bar vendors figure their measurements.
She was on a 08 heritage that had 16" apes on it and liked the height of those and they appeared to the naked eye to be several inches taller. I know seat height has some to do with it.
You need to consider rise and pull back. I think the '14 King has Heritage style bars on it from the factory like my '15 King. I put 14" WO Chubby apes on my '13 King and really liked those. It won't be cheap, figure about $800 for bars, cables, wires and then add labor if you aren't gonna DIY>
