Default Another Nav ? Thread

Ok, so I just downloaded the 1.19.1 for my new RGS. Hooked up the memory stick and the download went simple. The system recognized the stick with no problem.

Try to import a trip into the NAV menu through the import process and the same Memory stick doesn't come up as being recognized. What am I doing wrong. Same stick same everything and after I completed the .19.1 update.

Nathan,
If you've used this USB for trips before and now have problems I'd format it and try again. If I remember right you format it fat32.
Is your map file in the root directory?
good luck

Thanks. Yes it is in the root directory. I haven't attempted to import a trip before, but was able to import the update to the audio system through the same memory stick.

If your update file is also still in the root directory remove it.

Here's a good video from Finalshot:

I used Ride planner this summer for a trip to Canada and it worked good but I didn't like not being able to name way-points. Last week we took a trip to Colorado and I used Tyre and you can name the WPT's. Both are easy, just remember to save as GPX.
Good Luck

Think I figured it out. I just deleted the trips off of the drive and reformatted it and tried again. Got it to work.
