I know everybody has an opinion on break-in but I'll always take it really easy for the first 50 miles, then very gradually increase rpm till I reach about 1,000 miles.
Yes those lower fairing vents are very small comparing to pre 14 but pretty effective and sturdy not as clumsy as I had on our 07 and 08 UC. Where Twin cool has radiators that part stays close there is no opening but I could be wrong since our both are twin cooled and has radiator screens.

She burned 1/2 qt oil not so bad oil looks new.. after tune 3 hole oil change and SE Heavy duty clutch spring install
