[QUOTE=plongson;16096872]Well...I bit it and purchased the MY2014 mapset from NaviExtras. It went very well without a hitch, here's a few bullet points...
I may not understand the naming convention so may be a stupid question but why wouldn't you buy the 2017 version rather than the 2014? Does the name always stay the same depending on the year of bike and just the version number under it change and is updated? If that is the case how do you know what that is because all I find on the bike is the Navco my2017 designation and no other date or version number.
It won't hurt anything being in accessory mode that long. Plus these bikes have auto shut off as well. On long road trips I leave it in accessory at all stops including meals so that I can charge helmets and so the Nav stays up and running and I don't have to wait for it to load.
I have a 2017 CVO Limited as well and I am not sure how to transition from full on to accessory without first turning off the bike and then holding the display button down for a few seconds to enter acc mode? And at that point the boom restarts.
I am using the free version of Dropbox so I have run out of space to add any other updates. You can always try getting the previous version from HD by going to the download page and right-clicking on download software. Then, "copy link".
After the link is copied, go to the address bar of your browser and paste the link. Then, change the part of the name to the one you want (e.g. 1.21.0.4). If you did everything correctly, you should be able to download the older version. If you see a "file not found" message on the top of the page, you either entered an incorrect file name or HD has removed that version.

Without turning the bike on, simply hold down the ODOM trigger switch for a couple seconds. The bike will enter ACCY mode.

No I get that, the question is going from started to ACC without turning the bike off first. Sounded like the someone was doing this so the Nav didn't reset but I am not sure how.
