Navsync_nonavcontent error
I tried using the Naviextras toolbox tool to download Australia 2013 Q2 map to my 2014 FLHTK.
I successfully did the first software update, then I took a thumbprint of my system back to the naviextras toolbox.
It then writes a small file to the USB stick and says I am up to date.
However when I go to update the bike I get the "Navsync_nonavcontent " error.
I am at a loss what to do... any help would be apprecu=iated.
I think I worked out what caused the issue in my case - you're probably not gonna like it if you did the same.
Did by any chance you buy the map before doing an update (without map) from Naviextras?
It's possible that you didn't do a separate update after loading the German map, and before loading the replacement map, which will cause the error.
If you didn't do an update before trying to load the map it will give the Navsync nonavcontent error when you try and bundle the map with the update.
I tried getting Harley Australia to contact the Naviextras site administrators and try to remove the map from my profile so I could load the update by itself but no dice - Naviextras didn't want to come to the party.
Now what Harley Australia are doing is (under warranty) changing out my radio so it will have a clean "thumbprint" so I can do the update from a new account created in Naviextras (under a different email address). I should then be able to load the map separately after doing the update.
Hopefully this will fix the issue - it hasn't been done yet - I am awaiting on a replacement radio.
Maybe you might want to give Dan the technician at Harley Davidson Australia office a call to discuss your issue? It's Dan who is organising my replacement radio under warranty and who I have been liaising with regarding this issue. To protect his privacy I won't post his mobile number , but he can be reached by calling the Harley Davidson Australia office and being asked to be put through to him.
