Default fork wind deflectors "fangs"

2017 sgs, yes or no? likes/dislikes? i know, ugly but worth it? i have 7in windsplitter and ashtray. i like wind in my face and don't want to go higher with windshield but 65-70 and more on highway can be unbearable with updraft.

They work great for buffeting! Seriously I tried everything else.. these will make the right side let a lot hotter because not as much air going past the pipes.. I don’t mind the looks of them on my bike at all

i have a 2015 SG

They work.....add a fan assisted oil cooler and you won't notice a temperature increase.....

YMMV

I disagree. The heat isn’t from the oil being hot it’s from the pipes not getting air flow they normally have. The oil is a small factor on that engine heat because when moving the oil Cooler is cooling adequately and not affected by the fangs. The heat is from the pipes in the right side and from less air flow to the jugs

Just giving my experience with the fangs on a 2017 SGS. I noticed a difference when I installed the oil cooler. As always, YMMV

no worries man just throwing out opinions here. If it helped then yeah by all means. I heard the fans on the jugs really help

So, ashtray doesn't take care of that updraft?
