Decat Old or New
Bought a headpipe with 200 miles on it off eBay. My bike is a 2014. Going to decat one of them. Anyone of them easier to remove the cat material than the other? Same headpipe. Thanks

I just bought an intact header with cat on eBay. It's a dealer takeoff from a brand new '16 MY 103.Rushmore. I'm going to decat my existing header and hold on to this one in case I ever need to go back.

I bought my de-cated header pipe from http://www.wildpigpipes.com/Store1.html . I haven't installed it yet but it looks to be exactly what i wanted.

I would do the easiest job possible save the one you bought as a back up decat your current one while on the bike.

I did my own also. Cut the square access panel in inside of pipe. If I had to do another I would just buy one off eBay already decatted. It's just my opinion but I thought it was kind of a pain in the a**. I took my pipe into work and had access to any tool and welder needed and still found it to be a bit time consuming.
