Default Do the hidden antenna work well?

Thinking of doing away with my travel trunk. Now Harley does not sell the relocator bracket for antenna. They want you to use the hidden antenna. Do they work well. Also I read Kuryakyn s works better then Harleys. 2015 Harley Limited Low

My hidden antenna was not much better than no antenna at all.

I have both FM and CB hidden antennas, there is definitely signal loss, but it is not that bad. Before I got them I could get a mile, maybe mile and a half from the CB, on a good day up to 3. Now I get about 3/4 to a mile, and on a good day up to 2 miles. For FM it’s about 75% of what the original was.

Might I suggest you do a YouTube search for "Harley antenna relocation" or "Harley hillbilly antenna relocation". Try this method of running your radio antenna thru the frame under the seat. It's cheap.

Agree with most everyone else... the Harley hidden antenna doesn’t work that well.

Had the hidden antenna a couple bikes ago. It sucked at best. Same thing with a stubby antenna that I am running now. This is for FM reception.

I have been using HD's shorty antenna and it does seem to work fairly well. Really can't tell any difference from the stock one. Maybe get out 50 miles or so and then start to loose stations. But we have strong stations here. This is for the FM stuff.
