I have a 2014 Ultra Limited with 103 and I am doing a stage 2 upgrade using the wood 222 cams. I am going 2-1 on the exhaust. My question is does D&D make the billet cat with the vortex baffle for my 103 or just the M8?
I looked on the D&D site and it says 2-1 billet cat with the vortex baffle for 09-16. Ive searched YouTube high and low and the only thing Ive seen is the billet cat 2-1 with vortex baffle on M8s only. The only thing Ive seen for the 103 is the fat cat.
Is your engine currently tuned? If not I highly suggest you give that a try first. The difference will be easily and readily noticeable. Both our 2014 103 HOs really woke up after Stage I and good tune. Mine will very easily burn the rear tire and very easily break it loose in a turn. Not so before being tuned - Really lazy and hot.
The 103 HO 255-ish cams are quite a bit better than the lazy cams that came in the pre-2014 103s. These engines really respond well to Stage I with proper tune.
