Default TCMT shocks

Stumbled across these TCMT remote reservoir shocks and decided to purchase them. I have to say they were easy to install, I rode my 23 Street glide special for 100+ miles aa soon as I installed them and the difference from stock is unbelievable. If anyone had any experience with them I know they can relate. I only wish I found TCMT a-lot sooner. If anyone has the chance to get their hands on this kit please do so you will NEVER regret it

someone cut open a pair of reservoir shocks from either Temu or Chinazon recently, there wasn't even any fluid in the reservoirs, not saying that's the case here, but you get what you pay for...

Two questions- How much were they, and is there any other way to mount the reservoirs so that they don't look like jet packs? Maybe hidden somewhere?

Appears to be $599 on Amazon.

I honestly would spend that exact same money on Italian made Bitubo, with no external reservoirs.

Available at DK Customs. I’ve owned two sets on two Glides.

I've been wondering about those TCMT shocks myself. Noticed that minimum height is 13", bummer. Glad that you like them. A better review and more info would be great.
Not everyone likes the bitubo shocks, I know that I didn't.

👍
Do they service them or are they throw aways.
Or will they just replace for free when they need serviced.

I saw the same pictures. Apparently, there are reports of the mounting ends breaking off as well. I don't get spending 20-30 grand on a bike and putting cheap chicom crap on it. But hey, you do you I guess.

True, But I'm sure not all reports are for all of them, so far they are working for me and in the end most of them are ALL made in China, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan lol except for Legend they are made in Sturgis SD.
-Öhlins shocks are made in multiple locations around the world, including Sweden, Japan, Thailand, and North Carolina.
None of the Öhlins shocks are made in the United States.
Most consumer products are made in Japan, while most competition products are made in Sweden.
Fox shocks are made in the United States, Taiwan, and Georgia.

Legend shocks are made in Sturgis, South Dakota. Legend Suspensions is a company that manufactures motorcycle parts and supplies.
100% of Legend shocks are assembled in Sturgis, South Dakota, USA.
Legend Suspensions designs and manufactures their shocks in the United States.
TCMT shocks are manufactured in China. TCMT is a Chinese company specializing in motorcycle accessories, including shocks, and all their products are generally considered to be made in China.

The difference in the companies you reference, is that they contract to have parts made, and have specifications to follow, along with knowing how the product is supposed to perform based on the specs when making those parts. The Chinese companies that just manufacture things , or should I say "copy", have no clue what they are making. And have no idea what they are looking at, in most of cases.
They have no research, development and or test fail parameters, performance standards ,advertisement budget, warranty program etc. This is the reason why they are 1/3 the cost of of a recognized name brand product.
