So you were able to pair your bluetooth headset and phone at the same time?
I believe that is his way of saying "my set up works fine, so why would I go buy a '14 to have to have payments again?" I was scratchin' my head wondering how he integrated the Sena as well.

Oh, I see. Someone commenting on a 2014 problem thread that doesn't own a 2014. I almost forgot what forum I was on.
well I went to Harley and downloaded the new software to my desk top then unzipped the file and uploaded it to a stick with a FAT23 format and tried to upload it to the bike and no go.
all it says is no playable files, I accepted that and left the stick in for at least 5min and it never did anything else.
any other help would be good or I will just have Harley do it at the 1k service
as a side note I am not having any problems just figured I would install the latest software.

Try this. Unzip the downloaded zip file. After that, unzip the "swdl_boombox65gt.iso". This should open a bunch of files. Then plug into you bike via directions.

Mine definitely updated with just the swdl_boombox65gt.iso file (it's about 800MB) and nothing else on a freshly-formatted 8GB USB drive. It's possible that the 'bike is fussy about the type of USB stick. In due course, Harley and owners will figure this out, but this is typical of "new" technology (it's nothing of the sort) in vehicles.
Don't even get me started about reading an aircraft engine monitor, or uploading database updates to an aircraft GPS.....that makes the Harley process look modern and trivial.
The file has to be unzipped to the thumb drive. On a PC, you can right click on it and select extract all files and choose the USB drive when prompted. Not sure about a MAC.
It finally worked for me.
I used my PC instead of my MAC
I made sure the USB was completely blank and I re-formated it to FAT 32 as suggested by another user in this thread
I downloaded it to my desktop than I right clicked on it and Extracted All Files to my USB
Turned on the bike, plugged it in and accepted the upload
Thanks for your help!
The only glitch I had was the Navigation wouldnt Avoid Highways when I told it to. I still breaking it in so I was trying to take side streets home. I restarted the navigation and radio and it worked.
I have tried 3 different sticks, I have tried to use FAT32, FAT, and exFAT formats nothing works
I looked at unzipping the already unzipped file and there is only 1 file

Is the stick at least 8GB? This requirement is mentioned somewhere, but I have no idea why it would apply.
The .iso file actually is an image of a CD/DVD, and contains a bunch of files. There are tools to "mount" a .iso file, and Windows 8 does it natively. But there should be no need to do this, as I know, for a fact, that I updated my 'bike with just the .iso file on the stick.
