6'1" here w/ 32 inseam.

Stock ultra seat w/ 9" LRS Ultra Wide... 100% happy. No buffeting to speak of... Good wind protection for my wife as well, either of us can wear a ball cap at highway speeds.

Windshields are not always measured the same between manufacturers.
I was hoping in this case they were, but I'm going to wait for someone to verify.

Sorry. Thought we were discussing LRS shields!

My 9" LRS measures 9" from the top of the center mounting screw washer to the top of the shield. My 10" OEM shield measured a hair over 10" from the same points.

Hope that gives you a idea......

Ok sweet. Yeah, I've never heard anyone state that LRS's ran large.
Thanks for confirming that. I'm going with a 10" then as soon as they have another 50-60% off sale.

So the LRS is a little taller? By how much do you think?

Got a picture?
Yeah, 10" is 10", but I figured out why the top of the LRS shield is right in my line of sight. It's the "re-curve", which puts the top of the shield further out from the stock shield.

The stock shield was the perfect height for me as I could see over the top of it when sitting naturally. Now, I have to sit "taller" in the seat in order for the top edge of the LRS to not be in my line of sight. I definitely should have ordered the 8".

Thanks for all the info guys.
After my post Red sent me the code Yesterday so I ordered a 9" Medium tint. Gonna see how that works out.

Hopefully it doesn't vibrate in the middle like my stock one does. lol
