Icy beam: what are you riding? A sport glide? There are vendors out there who will fabricate one to fit your bike if you can’t do it yourself. You may have to provide some measurements
‘I am going by what I like; son holds it in place and I step back to look. Tack weld it, etc.

Hi! Yeah, a sport glide. Ill take measurements, I just wasnt sure if I needed to make any consideration for the bag quick release bracket, like; would it go between the fender and the bracket or go on the bracket itself somehow... perhaps Im overthinking it!
Actually, I bought one for our Sport Glides that goes in to the quick release system. I thought about using it as a base for welding on the tall one I like but I cut off all that factory Bagger stuff off. How custom do you want to get? Or do you like the factory look, bags, etc?
I like the factory look so far, I am still feeling it out, I just know I definitely want a sissy bar. I had one on my sportster and I want the same thing.
I like the style of the Sport Glide and am considering this bike. However I'm 6'4". Do you guys think that is too tall for this bike? How about with the Tallboy seat? Thanks.

Hello,
Most Dealers have Demo seats u can try.
have fun.
Mike
im 61 and hated the feel of the seat, bars and peg configuration. It made me slump/curl my back. When I went with my springer solo seat it lifted me up higher and I am way more comfortable now. I like the pegs where they are, but the bars are next. Priced out some 14-16 inch apes - holy ****! a $2500+ price tag to put on 120 dollar bars (wondering if theres a thread out there on swapping the bars myself...). But I feel the apes will help me keep my spine straighter.
If I had to do over again, Id try out the Slim - think theres another chopper/bobber softail M8 that maybe wouldve brought me closer to what Im building...
yes; have fun! Harleys are an std I dont mind having caught
