So, I am thinking of ordering some new wheels. The stock looks good on the black bikes, trouble is, mine is not black, so looking for chrome. No Chrome options in the HD world.
Few questions for the group:
Anybody have experience with Wyna-Ryd? They have two potential options listed below.
Thinking of going from the stock 180/65/16 to a 200/60/16. Anybody do that? Any potential issues?
Looks like I can find three matched sets in 130/70/18 and 200/60/16. They are: Avon Cobra Chrome, Bridgestone Exedra Max, or Metzler ME 888 Marathon Ultra. Live in the mountains of AZ, occasional wet rides, but primarily dry riding. Any experience or one to defiantly avoid? Any recommendations?
Pictures on fitmit, wheels, etc for reference.
Thank you in advance.
Except for width, pretty comparable on size.
16 rim at 5.5 inch would hold a 200 tire?
I think i like this one better than the other below.
Payson do you have a link for that tire comparison calculator? Mine is a 180/70/16 so I would like to compare it to that. I have seen a 200 on a Fat Bob.
Has anyone installed a Vector Batwing Fairing on a 2018 Sport Glide? Just trying to figure out what needs to be modified to get the headlight in the correct spot.
Spoke with fjoh who walked me thru what it took to put lowers on the Sport Glide. A little time consuming and the use of a dremel helps, I was able to mount the lower clamp using a one inch connector and did not have to drill another hole. Lowers sit a little different then how they were designed. Sits behind the lower bar instead of on it, actually it maybe better if the bike goes over it will land on the bar with out the lowers hitting. Have not taken the bike out yet and know it's not for everyone , I thought the lowers may have looked to big, but now think th
ey look fine.
Got the xfmt lowers for bout 60 bucks, went with Memphis fats 17", sundowner seat- more comfortable for MoMA, 4 1/2 pull back risers. Man what a nice ride she is.
