I just ordered a replacement 12" Slip Streamer windshield for my Sport Glide as I found a bit of wind buffeting at 70mph with the stock windshield and like the look of a taller windshield. Has anyone has installed a different windshield yet? Obviously taking the fairing off is a breeze but not sure about removing the windshield itself from the fairing. Any tips/tricks are greatly appreciated!
I changed to a 12" slipstreamer on my sport glide. Install in easy. I think there were around 6 torx screws. Just set the whole fairing on a soft blanket or carpet because you're working from the back and don't want to scratch the fairing in the process. In hindsight I wish I had gotten a slightly taller one because still buffeting although maybe from the narrow width vs the height. I'm 6'1" and have the tall boy seat. I'm hoping someone eventually comes out with a recurve for it. I think that would help a lot.
Following this! Just traded up to a 19 Sport Glide. Hard to find pics of mods on these bikes. Still too new I guess. I'm only 125 miles in but I'm loving it!
Btw: I have bags, windscreen, sissy bar... I took off my 2018 - black - and like chopper stuff. So if you’re looking for a perfect condition / less than 20 miles set of Sport Glide bags, screen (both size windshields) and a 350-400 dollar passenger backrest sissy (with quick connect mount extensions) and have any items to trade I’m game. Northern California.
Shipping is pretty pricey, so meeting might be best option.

I don't have anything to trade but would be interested in the sissy bar/backrest set-up. I'm headed to SF next week for work. Where are you?
Here's my 2018 Sport Glide with a 12" dark smoke Slip Streamer windshield. Took it for a highway ride and it made a big difference with reducing wind buffeting. I'm 5'10" and the height of the windshield is perfect. The edge of the windshield did rub on my clutch cable, so I zip tied the cable to my handlebar and problem solved.
