They didn't change the pads but if I understood them right I think they made the edges (sides) of contact at an angle. I have not have the noise again. I don't think it was the brakes anyway. I am betting on belt being too tight.

I'll keep this updated when I can get a long ride in. Weather is not agreeing with biking lately.
Do you know what the new specs for the belt are?

How did you like the Bassani pipe? I know this is a dopey question, but how loud is it? Obnoxious or just a little louder than stock? Can you put a quiet baffle in? Thanks!

Default Aftermarket tour pack

I'm in a bit of a rush. I'm planning a trip from Canada to California in 3 weeks and I think i'm going to need a tour pack. I haven't read good things about the quality of the HD item, so am looking for aftermarket. I have found this: https://ca.nastyhog.com/collections/...gacy-tour-pack but can't find any real reviews. What's everyone using for a trunk? I've done a search, but haven't found much detail. Thanks in advance!

Kind of short notice but you might be able to pull it off. I've got the Viking Bags tour pack. I like it a lot. Install was four bolts into the HD two-up tour pack rack and detachable hardware. I think Viking is having a sale right now. I paid around $350 for the rear box.
