Hello fellow Heritage riders! Some nice looking bikes on this thread. Just bought me a 2018 gloss black and love it. Hate the ridiculous buffeting though. In GA we have a helmet law and the buffeting is bad with almost every windshield I have ever owned. If I spend too much more money the wife will have me sleeping in the garage with the Heritage. Need to cure this buffeting. I have read a ton and am leaning toward the fangs however I'm not crazy about how they look. Like the freedom shield too and they claim to stop it as well........just curious which I should try. Thanks in advance.
Hi there! I had the same issue I felt like a bubble head on the highway. So I swapped it out with any new windshield with a recurve . It made a huge difference. No more bubble head.
My speedo fogs up when it's sunny, it's annoying that it's at the bottom end and clouds over all the readouts.
I have same problem. Mine had like a stain inside of the glass, so I had to take it apart to clean. Needless to say messed up the chrome trim trying to get it back together. What I've find out is that the humidity comes in from underneath through the electrical connector. The connector does not create a sound seal (the little green soft rubber/silicone is not enough). The female housing is missing a lip all around the cavity for the plug to sit in and create a stop for the green rubber/silicone to make a good seal. A solution I've tried is applying a grease around the silicone seal groves to see if it helps seal out the interior of the housing after a few good hours of drying with a hairdryer inside with AC air. I rode the bike today with no fog at all forming, but today was a bit colder and did not had direct sunlight. So will test again. Hope this helps some with this small but extremely annoying issue. Will post again if it worked or if still happening. But the cheap housing and electrical plug setup seems is the fault. Thanks.
I call it Harley syndrome, every Harley I’ve owned does the same thing. I’m going to change mine on my 2019 Heritage 114. I’m looking at these two, haven’t decided yet.

I like the Koso, can't say why cause both look sick cool, but the Koso red over black is my dash style on several of my other vehicles. You cant go wrong with any of these two on looks.
I’m leaning that way too. Mr. Hulkss who post on this site is extremely knowledgeable. He installed the Dakota and is very happy with it. That’s why I’m haven’t pulled the plug on this yet.
I’ll decide after the first of the year. Property Taxes, Collage, Auto . I have 4 cars, boat and Harley . 🤑 LOL 😂
