From post 3216 by WKNDS, "I use Harley 'fangs' and have a Touring model 'dawg dish' (baffle) added below the triple tree on my <2018 FLS..." WKNDS, any chance you can post a pic or details on your 'dawg dish' baffle? I'd like to see if I can mount one on my FLHCS. Appreciating your time!

You should try posting in a font color that people can actually see.

To find more, you can use the Advanced Search, there are quite a few examples
from over the years. Here is mine though.
A piece of aluminum angle was used on the 'front' flange of the baffle so that it could be attached to the underside of the tree.
WKNDS Thanks for the pix. So on font color, I'm in dark mode which the site rolled out late last year. As I text my font is showing as white on a black background. I've seen some texts that look blank until I light them up like I'm going to copy, so I can read them.
I was going to post multiple colors here and see what works since what looks white on a black background isn't what y'all are seeing, but I don't see how I can change it. I'll take this question to the admins. Thankks for making me aware.
The Admin who answered my question says that when I copy-pasted text from another post the font color carried over to mine. Even though what I grabbed was legible the end result was that my text was near invisible. This may explain the assorted texts I find where I have to light them up to read them.... A side effect of the new dark mode.

Cut/paste from websites/browsers can have that effect. I've found that what usually works best is to 'paste'
text into a simple text-based 'notepad' (for lack of a better term) text file, then highlight/copy the text
from 'notepad' into the HDForum thread box. That process usually 'removes' most of any color/font problems...
Ebay lowers, $100 in black, TCMT brand IIRC. Clearanced to fit downtubes, not perfect but was an experiment. Don't provide as much wind protection as I have experienced with touring models (spoiled by shark), but bit warmer on 40 deg rides. NO ZIP TIES. Mounted to HD engine guard same as touring. Stock hard bags were installed with HoqWorks brackets. Used to be a Heritage, now I don't know what to call it. Works for me. After commuting all week on the small bike, this is a blast to ride.
For those who would say "If you wanted a touring bike, you should have bought one", I've ridden LOTS of miles on thousand pound HD's. I'm extending my riding life on lighter bikes now. Which happen to have a MUCH better suspension than the touring models.
Hey, one more question......do you think these lowers will work/fit with the OEM floorboards? I see you have converted to pegs, so wondering if the floorboards extend too far forward to mount the lowers without more mods.

There are many that say that. On here and at biker shows, rallies etc. That is a gut reaction statement and, on the surface, sounds legit. But the only ones who really know the truth are those that own or have ridden a Heritage. I have no desire to own a huge bike. I do not take passengers since my wife has her own ride. <-- A Heritage also by the way. I do not need the GPS crap. I do not want or need a fairing. The windshield is enough. I LOVE music but I do not want it on a motorcycle. I like music way too much and how f'ng loud would it have to be, to be clear over my pipes?!
I just do not need all that. I need a comfortable bike to get me around on long trips. I do like the way some folks have done up the late models with hard bags and some of the touring-type "stuff" Personally, I am not that strong and I need to be able to handle the bike down the road but mostly in the parking lots and tight spaces. My 19 Heritage does all that.

Wow - you just described...me.
Glad to see I'm not the only one. Love my Heritage. The reasonable weight and low center of gravity sold me on it in my 60's. It feels and rides just right to me.
