Rinehart Slip-ons
installed the Rinehart 3.5 slip-ons this afternoon.
Took it for a quick spin and no decel pops for now. Torque about the same, but it pulls like a banshee now that she can breathe a little better. Still waiting for the AC assy.

I really like like them as well. Its pretty much the sound I had in my head for a long time.
Who has changed their seat? Ultimate are not ready yet. What are Saddlemen seats like besides being one piece? Tailbone pain is so bad I am almost crying on any rides longer than 2 hours despite stopping for a break after an hour or so.

I just took my pillion off the other day. I had a much harder time getting the protector off. It left a very thick layer of nasty glue behind. It took 15-20 minutes of wiping with paint reducer to clean it up. Auto body shops carry clear protective film in various thickness, should you ever want to replace it.
The pillion pad doesn't appear to have any sharp edges, so you just need to protect the paint from the leather rubbing dirt into the clearcoat. I would use a piece of leather on mine if I had the occasion to have a passenger. But I'd rather they got their own bike

Had a bad battery, dealer gave me a new one to install. What a pain in the *** to change! Watched the video and just couldn't figure out how to unclip the rear tab on the plastic cover. Need skinny hands.

Still, it might be nice to know if a tool like this covers most of what we need. One would hope that the bags and windshield fasteners are the same Torx size.
