Alright I guess I'm not the only one with streaking moisture speedometer issue. It sure seems like after paying 21k plus for these bikes. MOCO would have solved this issue along time ago.
Cheers

actually got the dealership to get me a new speedometer. Im convinced this one will do the same thing. Im not sure if its moisture or vaporizing some glue/lube etc used inside the gauge. Whatever it is, HD (or manufacturer) should be embarrassed.

I agree with you my friend. MOCO has a Tech Article on this very thing. MOCO states they are aware of the condition and working toward a resolution. Tech Article TA0006 going back to just about all models since 2014. Hope your new one don't have the issues.

Dropped off number 144 last week for her 1K service. I noted to the service department that after I'm done with my ride I come back into my garage after about 30 mins to a strong smell of gas. They test rode my bike and also experienced it. The vapor valve part# 62150-85 was replaced.
Picked the bike up today...Parked it in the garage....Walked back out to...you guessed it..... The strong smell of gas.
Any thoughts? There is not a single drop of gas anywhere to be found.
I also asked about the condensation on the speedo and was told that Harley is saying if it last longer than 4hrs they will replace it, if not... they won't..... So I guess the answer is on your bike it last longer than 4hrs.....I thought.....What a dumb thing to say. (Not my rep he was just quoting Harley).
Yes I also have the strong smell of gasoline in the garage from my bike. I guess I can live with the smell of gas. But the condensation streaking over the digital part of the speedometer and longer that 4 hours is a real pain and drives me crazy trying to read the display.
Cheers
