I hope you can improve on it, take some pictures and post them. I had designed it to allow 3 ball mounts with the hope that i could squeeze a phone mount in there along with the Garmin. But there was not enough room without it looking like a total kluge. But, with the Garmin 595LM you don't need to view your phone anyway as all calls and messages our displayed through the Garmin. And you can make calls using the Garmin too. Its a pretty cool device.

In the end, that 1" ball to the right of the Garmin was used for a GoPro mount.

Also, the 12V power line can easily be fished under the gas tank without removing your tank. You may want to pull the speedo/console up and out of the way to help feed the wire through. Find something rigged yet light and flexible to fish under the tank and then pull the wire through. I used two long plastic wire ties taped back to back.

From a handling standpoint, this bike severely spanks my previous ride and this one's bone stock. The 114 is deceptively fast. I'm waiting for Bassani to release their Road Rage 2 into 1 pipe so the Granny from Pasadena will hear me when I'm next to her and she'll be less likely to make me her door ornament. I've only got 750 miles on this one (I had 96k miles on the Street Glide) and I'm looking forward to many more. The potential on this bike is amazing. I'm not missing the tour platform at all on this ride. Congratulations brother on your new ride!

What is the 114 engine code in the vin number? Trying to tell if a 18 Heritage is a 107 or 114, they changed the air cleaner.

Thanks

The Derby cover should have 114 unless they change it as well.

Go wide open in first and grab second......
If you can barely hang on it might be a 107
If you fall off probably a 114

This should help.

I double checked my setup. With the Reckless fairing I don't have enough room for the p-clamp. I'll continue my search. The U-bolt mounts work well but man they're ugly! At least they're black. LOL
