I just installed SE steet cannons and went for a 50 mile ride. I couldn't be more satisfied with the tone and overall sound. I previously had RCX slipons, which after 3 rides, decided that they were way too loud for me. Glad I got it ironed out. The cannons offer that middle ground...not too quiet...not too loud. The RCXs be going up for sale. If anyone is interested, pm me. They are in like new condition.
Hi...I just got a new Garmin Zumo 595 for my 2018 Heritage Softail...where did you put it on your bike? ...and did you use the handlebar accessory not included in the box?? Looks like it will block the mirror??

I used the mount included with my 396 and mounted it upside down. I use it for my phone. For my gps, I used a u-bolt RAM ball and mounted it close to the handlebar clamp. I hate both of them as I think they detract from the looks of the bike, but what can you do.

That looks great!! I'd like to see some pics of what you've done since then.
The aluminum bar is held on by two of those P-Clamps off the risers. Then there are 3 available ball mounts but the mounting hole shown on the right is used to hold a small bracket for a fused power switch with rubber boot. The power cable is run up underneath the gas tank and just connects to the existing power connector available near the battery (i just extended that cable basically for 12V power).
The Garmin 595LM came with a really long wire/cable set. I cut this down to minimize all the wires. That splicing is bundled up on the left with the heat shrink tubing keeping things tight and secure.
I'm also able to sneak the USB charging connector from the Garmin up into one of the windshield pouches. I don't bother with the H-D provided USB connector under the gas tank.
It looks pretty busy but with the windshield on you don't see anything.
