Check these out on E-Bay. I just bought the complete setup including the luggage rack from Dream Machines in Dallas for half price on E-Bay, and they still have a H-D sissy bar with pad available, then there is the other listing for the complete setup, but his price is not a great bargain.
Awesome. Last time I called Dream Machines they didn't have any backrests. They're only about a 2 hour drive from me. I guess I'll be calling them tomorrow and making a little road trip soon. Thank you. Maybe it'll be another warm Texas winter day and I can ride up there.
I picked up my new ride yesterday. Just turned over 100 miles. Traded in my Lowrider S. This is a bit heavier, but I'm getting used to it fast. I'm 5' 10", 32" inseam' 165lbs. Seems like it fits me well. A little bit of turbulence at my modular helmet, but as I raised my left hand to check the airflow, it's mostly hitting the very top or just above my helmet at speed. Also some pants flappin going on, but hey, it's a motorcycle. I can dig it!
Welcome the the FLHC Club. Good looking Color combo.

They come in chrome or black, and you can find some clear ones also if you look around online. Took only about 10 minutes to install.
Before you make the purchase, go for a ride and get up to speed. Place your left hand flat on your knee. Slide your hand forward about half way toward the front of your tank, keeping the edge of your hand against the tank. This should calm the buffeting down some, if so then these deflectors are what you need. But I can tell you from my personal experience this is what you need lol. They also keep a ton of bugs off your legs as well.
If you install them yourself, just pop off your windshield, take out the two bolts on each side the hold the windshield mounting grommets on and place the deflector to the outside of the grommet.
Yep, the link above will get you to black Wind deflectors. However, and IMHO, I don't care for how they look (their shape). I prefer the pointy Chrome FANG available for 2017 Heritage/Deluxe From J&P, eventhough you need to drill them to match the '18 mounting. The Chrome offsets the black of the Heritage, especially on my Cherry since it has a darker overall tone. The black fangs my look good on your bike because of the brighter color scheme.
Greetings, I recently installed an all-in-one integrated tail light and removed the stock rear turn signals. Now Ive got 4 holes in the fender that Id like to plug. My idea was to just use black painted carriage bolts. Does anyone have a better solution?

"Wow" A great color combination, congratulations on your new ride my friend.
Anyone know what the length of part number 37200218 is. I have the part numbers of some of the extended lengths but am having trouble finding length of the stock cable.
