Mustang.com has the rear fender bib for the 2018 Heritage.
Cheers
Im 63 and ride where its hot. I like a breeze. When riding distance at speed or in the rain, I wear a full face helmet (Shoei Neotec 2 modular). Clean air, with just the right amount of wind. I will not be changing the windshield.

Capt Itch makes them along with a bunch other leather stuff. Has various options. Good leather. He will ask for the measurements.

I take the windshield off during the months of July, August & September to get more air to my body. I use the HJC 3/4 helmet with flip up face shield. While stopped or slower speeds in town face shield up. High speed riding face shield down of course. Try to be home before the daily afternoon thunder storms. My stock windshield goes back on when temperature & humidity becomes bearable again.
Cheers

That's a good approach, too!
I'm often riding during late afternoon in the rain around here. I wear a DOT above the ear helmet (whatever they are called) on short trips and duck behinf the windscreen to get out of the rain.
I'm heading out for a trip from my home here in central FL to Raleigh NC and points west, next week. Looking forward to getting into the mountains.
I don't think the buffeting with the windshield is an issue at speed or going distance, with a good full face helmet.

Enjoy the ride in the mountains my friend. Really beautiful area for riding especially this time of year. I really don't think there is much of a buffeting issue with the stock windshield either. I'm 6' 0" tall and the stock 18 Heritage is the most comfortable riding bike I've ever owned.
Cheers and ride safe!
