Received my Thunderbike headlight cap today. Shipped from Germany to Canada in 2 days?! I am amazed. Nice quality piece. Especially impressed by the paint.
Those things look great! I just can't bring myself to pay that much for what they are. I think the headlight on these bikes just "need" something. I got bored a lil while back and had a fxr visor laying around. Looks ok, nothing near as good as yours, but only time invested, lol
Ya. Not cheap, especially when you consider shipping from Germany and, in my case, the weak Canadian dollar! But I am really impressed with the fit and finish and it was the final piece of the puzzle to finish off the bike for me so I had to bite the bullet
Although not as pretty as the Thunderbike Cowl, the OEM V-Rod cowl will fit and it's pretty cheap from the dealer, comes in vivid black for about $140 usd. Part number 67700030DH

When I dug this cover out, it was because I was planning on converting to a typical chrome round headlight. You guys think I should continue?
Tough to say without seeing the light, but I say do what makes you happy!
Personally, I like the modern theme of the stock headlight, but I didn't like the side profile and being able to see the back of the light. That's why I added the TB cowl.
