I had the same thing happen on my Sport Gide as well. Like Night Hawk suggested above, I dissassembled my dash and removed the plastic piece and attached it to the trim with 3M black weatherstrip adhesive. I did this last summer and about 3000 miles ago. I wonder why they simply didn't mold a couple **** on the trim piece instead of using the plastic part, oh well who cares I still dig the **** out of my scooter.

Gorilla double sided tape worked great. No big deal to me. Bigger fish to fry elsewhere.

Don’t have to tell anyone here how much fun it is to ride a Sport Glide, but thought I’d share a video from some scenic Virginia backroads.

The first accessory I purchased for my 19 FLSB was the black console kit. It came with a steel tank strap that replaced the rubber one, and because my bike is black, it looked somewhat unfinished. I used some aluminum I had in the garage and made some inserts. Better pics (and clean paint) to come.

Nice ride, thanks.
My sister lives in Charlottesville, might try to ride down this Summer.
