Default 2019 Fat Bob - windshield - easy on/off?

Hi, I installed the 19" windshield (from Harley) onto my fatbob today. Install was fairly smooth/uneventful. After I tightened the nuts and and the torx screws, the windshield is firmly in place. So far, so good.

This windshield is supposed to be easy on/off - how do I take it off if I want to? The bolt that holds the washer and bushing had blue loctite on it, and I don't see how the windshield will come off (easily) without loosening the 2 bolts.

What am I missing? Should I pull the windshield up/out harder than I am? Or do the bolts have to be removed/loosened first?
Thanks

I have the same oem windshield, no need for loosening any bolt, it comes of in an angle.

Thanks - I wonder if I overtightened the bolts somehow - the windshield does not want to move at any angle

Normally you cannot tighten the bolts too hard, there are metal spacers in the rubbers.

First you push (1) at the upper back of the bike and then (2) to the front and it come off, of course the assembly must be aligned and must not squeeze against each other.
You can try to apply a little bit of Vaseline on the rubbers but maybe everything is still too new and therefore it is a bit more difficult, for me it went on and off quickly.

Thank you - I'll try that out after work today

Would be more difficult to get off if they aren't totally in line. Might be the problem, it's easy for them to rotate when you're tightening them?

Thanks - I'll check that this afternoon. I thought that those wouldn't rotate at all (after the shield was installed) since the shield's clamps would hold them in place - but that may be a bad assumption. The mounting seemed to be perfectly lined up in the bracket after I installed the shield, but I'll double check,

Vaseline did the trick! Still a bit tight, but that is good.
(No wise jokes about vaseline/tight)

Moneyfor has it right. I had the same problem, couldn’t get the windshield to budge off the bushings. Tried some sort of lubricant and it helped a lot. I think it had something to do with everything just being new , probably loosen up over time.
