Has anyone found the Eliminator 300 mufflers are an absolute pain in the *** to install?
I must have changed fifty or more exhausts over the years but Ive not sweated or cursed as much as I did fitting those Eliminators to my 2020 Lowrider S.
Old pipes came off no problem, but the V&H were SO tight. I scuffed the black coating off both the frame and the pipe mounts because they were too tight to push into place and then rotate, so I had to rotate them right first and just force them past the mounts.
And now Im bummed about taking the powder coat of the mounts on the frame... its hidden under the muffler mounts but I know its there and it sucks on an otherwise unmarked bike.
Also the pipes dont look quite straight but I cant tell if Im imagining it, anyone elses look very slightly off?
Pleased with the sound though! After having an Evo big twin, and then warming to the quietness of the M8, I wasnt sure what to expect but I love how deep they are!

I used a FuelPak3 with the map for V&H Eliminator and high flow filter and dont have any popping, although Ive definitely seen people mention the decel popping with them.
